The Puddlebrix Garden (Aurorasauras & Artie Bear, Book 22)
Aurorasauras & Artie Bear, Book 22 by Paul Rawly
Spring sunshine warms Puddlebrix, and LJ invites everyone to help plant a garden on the village green. People arrive with spades, pots and seeds, and Kit comes with Reverend Hannah and Trevor, his picture cards and a quiet bench nearby.
Aurorasauras offers Kit three choices: watch, plant or water the seeds. Kit points to a strawberry. One scoop at a time, he fills his pot, drops in a seed and gently covers it. He chooses the small watering can, and when the busy noise gets too much, he picks his break card and rests in the shade until he is ready again. Peggy makes plant labels, and weeks later tiny green shoots peep out of the pots.
A gentle, inclusive story about gardening, patience and community.
The story is followed by 11 activity pages with story questions, feelings prompts and drawing spaces to share together. For children aged 3 to 7.
