Percy's Santa Surprise (Aurorasaurus & Artie Bear, Book 42)

Aurorasaurus & Artie Bear, Book 42 by Paul Rawly

Christmas is coming to Puddlebrix, and LJ is planning the party in the village hall. Then a letter arrives: Santa can't come. Percy the fishmonger has a twinkly idea, and he asks Aurorasaurus and Artie Bear to keep it secret from Pip, Polly and Kit.

At the harbour shop Peggy sews a red coat, and the friends try to turn Percy's dark brown beard white. Soapy foam slides straight off, but a little flour does the trick. On party night Santa arrives with a bulging sack and a present for every child, until a floury sneeze gives the game away. Then a sprinkle of Christmas snow makes it the best party ever.

A warm, funny Christmas story about kindness, keeping a happy secret and helping your neighbours.

The story is followed by 10 activity pages with story questions, feelings prompts and drawing spaces to share together. For children aged 3 to 7.
