Percy the Fisherman (Aurorasauras & Artie Bear, Book 8)

Aurorasauras & Artie Bear, Book 8 by Paul Rawly

One sunny day, the friends go down to the harbour, where boats bob gently on the water. A man in a yellow coat and a navy beanie waves hello. He is Percy, and he is a fisherman.

Percy sails out each day to catch fish for his little shop, and his wife Peggy gets them ready for the customers. Their daughter Polly, with her bouncy red curls, shows everyone how to fold paper boats while Percy chugs out to sea. When the little blue boat comes home with a box full of shiny fish, there is some to sell and some for tea, and everyone sits down to share a lovely meal.

A cheerful story about community, working together and the friendly people who help a town.

The story is followed by 11 activity pages with story questions, feelings prompts and drawing spaces to share together. For children aged 3 to 7.
