Bonfire Night in Puddlebrix (Aurorasauras & Artie Bear, Book 14)

Aurorasauras & Artie Bear, Book 14 by Paul Rawly

Aurorasauras and Artie Bear can hardly wait: tonight the whole village will see a bonfire and fireworks! Before they go, LJ explains why Bonfire Night is remembered around 5 November, with the story of Guy Fawkes and the plan that failed in 1605.

Pumpkin stays snug at home, watching from the window. At the village show, the bonfire stands safely behind a wire fence, and on top sits an enormous fish made by Percy! The flames dance, the big fish glows, and then WHOOSH! POP! Red, green and gold fireworks fill the sky. At home, there's hot chocolate and a happy kitten waiting to hear everything.

A bright, friendly introduction to Bonfire Night for young children, with gentle safety messages and lots of community fun.

The story is followed by 13 activity pages with story questions, feelings prompts and drawing spaces to share together. For children aged 3 to 7.
