Boxes are stacked high in every corner of the little fern home. Aurorasauras and her mum are moving to the sea, to a town called Puddlebrix, and her best friend Artie Bear is coming too. Saying goodbye to Pip is hard, but they promise to write to each other.

The new house has a bright yellow door, salty sea air and gulls calling overhead. Still, on the first night, Aurorasauras misses her old home. "Let's take one small step," says Artie, "and then another." Down on the beach they meet Nell, a friendly rabbit, and build a sandcastle with three tall towers and a deep moat. When a big wave washes it away, they simply build another, a little higher up the beach.
