Rosie's Birthday Post (Aurorasauras & Artie Bear, Book 34)

Aurorasauras & Artie Bear, Book 34 by Paul Rawly

On Rosie's birthday, Pip is awake before the post office clock chimes. He has a card hidden under his pillow and a plan folded in his notebook. Today, somebody else will bring the post to Mum.

With LJ, Aurorasauras and Artie Bear, Pip asks the neighbours for special postcards, each showing something Rosie has helped them with since the post office reopened. Percy draws a parcel reaching the harbour, Peggy a letter from an old friend, and Kit gives Rosie his card himself. But when Pip hangs the postcards on a long ribbon, his own picture is missing! LJ helps him think about what he wanted it to show, and Pip draws it again: two hedgehogs beside a yellow lamp, and the words "Thank you for making our new place feel like home."

A tender story about gratitude, community and the little moments that make a house a home.

The story is followed by 10 activity pages with story questions, feelings prompts and drawing spaces to share together. For children aged 3 to 7.
